PLP Labels commenced designing and marketing self-adhesive labels in 1983. Since then, PLP has continued to grow its business by expanding its product offering to include Printing and Packaging, hence the acronym, PLP.

As a result of continued growth PLP registered as a Close Corporation in 1998.

Since PLP’s modest beginnings in 1983, we now service our South African, Namibian, Botswana, Swazi and Lesotho clients from our offices in the Western Cape and Gauteng as well as via our Namibian and Eastern Cape agents. Operations are managed from our Head Office in Cape Town.

Staff at PLP are continually trained both internally as well as by external service providers so that their skill levels are continually being improved.

All our staff are multi-skilled. This allows for an exchange of ideas and continual improvement in methods of work as the ideas of others are communicated through the workplace.

PLP also provides employment to a group of peolple in the informal sector who would otherwise be un-employed.

This is done by outsourcing  the stringing of tags to an enterprise which then co-ordinates and manages people who work from home .

Since 1983 PLP has prided itself on being leadrs in the field.

We continually introduce new product offerings into our stock range.

Be it new designs for vacuum bags, self-adhesive labels or shrink sleeves, we remain innovators in our field.

PLP is also able to offer a unique service to our clients.  Because we are not restricted to a single method of production or any specific product type, we are able to  supply the best solution for our clients.
